Surface preparation.
Every job starts with prep, not paint. Filling movement cracks, smoothing uneven plaster, sanding, stain-blocking on water or damp marks, and applying primer or mist coats on fresh plaster. Near the seafront this step matters more than it would inland - salt-laden air and condensation on cold walls show up faster on a poorly prepped surface. Skipping this step is the single most common reason a paint job looks bad within a year - we don't skip it.
Wall and ceiling painting.
Emulsion application in matt, silk, eggshell or washable/durable finishes, depending on the room. Bathrooms and kitchens get moisture-appropriate finishes; hallways and children's rooms get washable coats that survive scuffs.
Woodwork and trim.
Skirting boards, door frames, internal doors, stair banisters and spindles, and window sills, in gloss, satinwood or eggshell finishes to match the rest of the room.
Feature walls.
Precision accent painting, or applying textured and specialty paints where a single flat colour doesn't do the job justice.
